Party Kids America - Building a More Functional Rental Website
Party rental websites need to do more than display items. Customers need to explore what's available, understand the rental options, and have a clear path toward making a booking.
I worked on Party Kids America through Artoria Media, focusing on the WordPress implementation and the functionality needed to support its rental experience.
Bringing the rental experience together
The website was built with WordPress and Avada Builder. I worked with Booqable integration to support the rental workflow, including its date-picker functionality. This helped connect the website experience with the tools customers need when planning a rental.
Structuring rental content
Beyond the page layouts, the project involved setting up custom post types and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to manage rental-related content. This provided a more structured way to organize information instead of relying entirely on manually built page sections.
Performance and usability
I also worked on website performance using WP Rocket and image optimization tools. The aim was to improve how the site loaded while preserving important rental functionality. Because booking tools and performance settings can affect one another, keeping the rental experience working was an important part of the process.
The result
The project brought together the website, rental content, and booking-related functionality in one WordPress experience. It also involved balancing performance improvements with the practical needs of a rental website.
