Project Overview:

Client: PETRONAS (through SmartCore Digital)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Core Project: Internal CRM for Oil & Gas PETRONAS Researchers

Design Process:

Streamlined data collection for PETRONAS Research by developing and implementing an internal research data logging tool and a CRM.

Utilized Figma for user interface design to optimize the efficiency of the data logging tool and CRM.

Wireframing and Prototyping:

Designed a researcher dashboard for PETRONAS Research using Figma to meet visual communication and information management needs.

Maintained scalability in the design to accommodate the addition of future features to the same dashboard.

Team Collaboration:

Successfully coordinated with a Malaysia-based team while working remotely from London to accomplish a hand-off of the researcher dashboard implementation under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Received positive feedback for the dashboard hand-off and implementation.

Results and Impact:

Streamlined data collection processes for PETRONAS Research, enhancing efficiency in research data logging and CRM usage.

Developed digital posters for PETRONAS and designed a researcher dashboard that met visual communication and information management needs.

Challenges and Learnings:

Overcame the challenge of working remotely and coordinating with a Malaysia-based team to achieve successful dashboard implementation.

Learned about the importance of scalability in design and meeting visual communication needs for effective information management.
