TripMate is a collaborative travel companion that helps friends effortlessly plan trips, manage expenses, and stay organized, all in one place. Designed for shared experiences, it blends elegant design with practical coordination tools, making group travel feel light, social, and stress-free.
I designed the entire experience from 0 to 1 — from early concept sketches to a refined mobile prototype in Figma. The goal was to make trip organization as intuitive as chatting with friends. Every interaction, from itinerary planning to splitting payments, is designed to feel smooth and human.
Our approach focused on clarity, flow, and warmth. We reduced clutter, created clear visual hierarchies, and used friendly microcopy and photography to keep the experience emotional yet functional. Key journeys, like adding expenses, creating polls, or settling balances, were mapped to feel natural and rewarding.
