We've been handling Ownwell's content since the beginning of 2025. This not only means creating content for their organic channels (specially Instagram) but also designing and animating their paid ads and other design assets.
Our biggest challenge on this project was understanding property taxes and learning how to animate, since before this we had almost no knowledge on how to animate professionally.
Who is Ownwell?
Ownwell is a digital property tax assistance service that specializes in fighting for fair property tax assessments and property tax bills utilizing AI and local expertise to handle protests/appeals/grievances and exemptions for homeowners and investors alike (residential & commercial real estate).
Ownwell’s mission is to make homeownership more equitable and transparent. Protesting and appealing property tax assessments is a tax strategy that wealthy real state owners use to reduce the overall cost to their investments that should be common knowledge for average homeowners too. We also operate with one of the lowest contingency fees in the market, with a risk-free sign up (only pay if you save).

How are we currently helping Ownwell?
Strategy Process
We started with a social strategy presentation where we dove right into a condensed version of their brand's storytelling, a content strategy and growth strategy for social media, and a creator collaboration strategy. Since they were already on social media, our main priority was connecting with their audience better, generating more leads and have a better social media presence. Everything was done with the intention of attracting their ideal client's interest and introduce them to who Ownwell really was 🤩

As of July 2025, we've created over 50 ads both in 1:1 and 9:16 formats to accommodate their use on Meta and other ad platforms. The way we usually work is by the brand, in this case our Project Manager Alex McCard, requesting an ad brief with all the information we need to understand the ad concept, and then we move to the design stage. We typically get the designs done within 48 hours and then animation takes between 24-48 hours, so within 3-4 days you have a running ad!
We also give 2-6 versions of ad copy (depending on the amount of deliverables and ad versions) so the brand can A/B test.

We've been helping the Organic Marketing team with their content (video and design), copy and video editing for since the beginning of 2025. Whilst we haven't yet managed fully the accounts, we've supported them in any way we could. This has resulted in them having more consistency in their accounts, more leads and better responses from the community.
In terms of video editing, we created a really good style that we thought would go well with the brand. These were used for both organic and paid purposes.
We also provided them with a list of influencers/creators that could work with them in the long run. We created a full directory for them to use whenever they liked!

Reports and other Marketing assets
Ownwell is constantly publishing surveys, studies, and reports bringing the property taxes world more insights into how homeowners behave and handle taxes. We helped their team bring some of the reports, digital newspaper ads as well as over 30 charts to vision. Here's an example of one of the published reports ↓
