The first time we work with the Sawmill team was as a trial for an ecommerce Black Friday - Cyber Monday campaign for one of their clients. We were then contracted to create their social media strategy and launch plan. This is the story ↓

What is Sawmill?

Sawmill began in 2014 as a video production company. Through their early years, they built their reputation on storytelling – making content that was emotionally resonant and true to the creative spirit of the brands that trusted them.
Within five years, they’d worked with clients like Polaris, Yamaha, TD Bank, and Chevrolet, making everything from documentaries to television commercials. They recently made a Super Bowl commercial for one of the GTA’s biggest homebuilders 🤯

The Challenge

Our first assignment was to create 10 creatives created for this campaign. They wanted the brand to fully reflect through the ads and achieve their goals for the Black Friday-Cyber Monday sales campaign.
If the trial was well liked by the client and the team, we would create on a regular basis ad creatives for their different clients that accurately reflect their respective goals for each campaign. Spoiler alert: it didn't happen 🫢 (don't worry, we were happy with our results and we had pushed ourselves to experiment with new designs)
BUT the team did end up hiring us to create their social media strategy and launch plan for their upcoming rebranding 🚀

Their Client

In this case, Eons were launching a campaign to introduce their array of products to a wider audience. While their ultimate goal is substantial product expansion, our immediate focus centered on the promotion of a single standout item - the “Sleep Mushroom Gummies.”
Our initial thoughts were creating 5 ads for Top of Funnel audiences, 3 for Middle of Funnel, and 2 for Bottom of Funnel; and focus 6-7 of them towards Broad Targeting and 3-4 for BFCM. We took it to new heights by analyzing the competition and creating some fun animates ads!
