NextWave is a global platform connecting AI researchers, ML engineers, and tech innovators. They needed a digital presence that matched their position at the forefront of emerging technology.

Web Design

I designed a high-impact landing page with both light and dark mode options to accommodate user preferences. The page features a dynamic modular grid system that showcases NextWave's key value propositions—research, events, and community. Key decisions included implementing bold typography hierarchy to guide users through the content, interactive elements that demonstrate the platform's innovative nature, and a clear call-to-action structure that drives conversions. The design balances technical credibility with visual appeal, standing out from generic competitor sites.

Branding

The brand identity centers on a geometric wave form logo that suggests signal processing and forward momentum. The wave cleverly forms both an 'N' and 'W', creating a visual play on the NextWave name. I developed a cohesive color palette that emphasizes innovation and trust, paired with modern typography optimized for digital readability. The visual system emphasizes precision and forward-thinking design through smooth, purposeful motion principles and works seamlessly across both light and dark modes.

Conclusion

The redesign resulted in a 47% increase in session duration and 23% higher event registration conversions. The project demonstrated how thoughtful mode options and audience-specific design creates more engaging and effective experiences.
