Toolchain Labs is a distributed software build system that lets developers run builds with Pants tools on a server. The web app, BuildSense, is designed to allow users to view all console outputs of their build runs in a structured easy-to-digest format.

The final design addresses the challenge of displaying intricate levels of information in a clear, readable, and findable way, including console outputs in code. It is tailored to the usage habits of developers.
Based on Material UI, the design system is customized according to Toolchain Labs' brand guidelines.
Result
The web app reached 10K monthly recurring revenue in two years.
