What countries does Contra support for payouts?
Depending on your country of residence a variety of payout methods from Bank Account, Debit Card, to Crypto (USDC) are available for freelancers on Contra.We are currently able to support Bank Account Payouts for the 100+ Stripe Supported Countries and are actively working on expanding beyond this using other international payment providers.
Does Contra collect and store my Social Security Number (SSN)?
No, Contra doesn’t collect or store your SSN or other personal data.
How are my payouts secured?
Stripe, our payment provider, has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe uses best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security as per Stripe’s terms.
