BEING SEEN Is Not Enough While thinking about this post, a question came to my mind. When I decided to BUILD A BRAND. If I DO NOT PUBLISH my work across different GLOBAL PLATFORMS, then “How will people know who I am?” If my WORK REMAINS only on my laptop, “How will people know what I am capable of?” This made me understand the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN, Social Media Presence & Brand Authority. “SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE is the physical picture of our work.” It helps people to DISCOVER our work, Understand what WE CREATE and Know that we EXIST. It does not always mean DIRECTLY PITCHING our services. Sometimes, by CONSISTENTLY sharing work, People gradually BECOME AWARE of our skills, thoughts and approach. But, “Having a STRONG SOCIAL MEDIA presence DOES NOT automatically mean having BRAND AUTHORITY.” Because when people ACTUALLY WORK with us, Their EXPERIENCE DECIDES whether our brand creates trust or not. If our online presence creates certain EXPECTATIONS, But our actual work DOES NOT MATCH those expectations, Then the AUTHORITY we are trying to build can get OVERSHADOWED. On the other hand, BRAND AUTHORITY is the stamp or clarity of that work. It is built when people who work with us provide VALUABLE FEEDBACK, Help us to understand OUR FLAWS and We CONTINUE IMPROVING while staying connected with our vision. “A BRAND does not become AUTHORITATIVE only because of visibility.” “It becomes AUTHORITATIVE when the value behind that visibility is experienced by others.” The reality for me is that, IF I DO NOT PUBLISH my work across different platforms, I will not HAVE PROOF to show people. My self-published blogs, Articles and Posts are not just content for me. They are: Proof of my WORK, Proof of my LEARNING and Proof of my CONSISTENCY. Without that ONLINE PRESENCE, People would have NO REASON to trust me or connect with me. Now, gradually, people are getting to know my work. Along with that, hopefully BRAND AUTHORITY will also build with time. CONCLUSION: SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE attracts attention. BRAND AUTHORITY earns trust. While writing this post, I felt that this post itself is proof of my work, my learning and my consistency.

BUILDING A PRODUCT vs BUILDING CUSTOMER TRUST What really makes customers trust a product? TRUST Begins Beyond the PRODUCT While trying to understand about CUSTOMER’S TRUST, I have NOTICED SOMETHING, that sounds interesting to me. When a customer or client comes to us, They usually come with a REQUIREMENT, or A PROBLEM that they want to solve. Whether that problem is related to a Product, Brand, Technical Work, Education or anything else. “I realised that, somewhere the customer is EMOTIONALLY INVOLVED with that problem.” “Because they EXPECT that their core problem should be UNDERSTOOD and solved.” This is where I see a CONNECTION between, BUILDING A PRODUCT and BUILDING CUSTOMER TRUST. A product may INTRODUCE the solution. But TRANSPARENCY helps the customer to understand, The Product, The Brand and Even the Founder behind it. During the CONVERSATION, If the Product Value, Work Pattern and Approach become clear to the customer. I believe HALF of the DECISION is made right there. Here, Trust can start with one INTERACTION, But Sustainable trust depends on REPETITION. One or two good conversations CANNOT GUARANTEE long-term trust. “What matters is the consistent behaviour towards the problem-solving pattern.” For me, that means REPEATEDLY SHOWING the customer that: I UNDERSTAND the problem. I KNOW whether I can solve it. I have the KNOWLEDGE and FRAMEWORK required for it. I can COMMUNICATE the process with clarity. Let’s understand with an EXAMPLE: As a FOUNDER of Manjot Kaur Writes and Another FOUNDER comes with a PROBLEM related to their product or brand. At that moment, One founder is the PROBLEM SOLVER, while The other is PROBLEM HOLDER. As a PROBLEM SOLVER, I first need to UNDERSTAND that I actually have a solution for that problem. If I DO NOT have the solution, Here TRANSPARENCY matters more than PRETENDING. “Because SUSTAINABLE TRUST cannot be built through one impressive conversation.” It is BUILT through, Repeated Experiences, Consistent Behaviour, Clear Communication and The value delivered while solving the problem. “Long-term trust or collaboration is just a possibility, not a guarantee.” We CAN BUILD the foundation for it through our work. But The FINAL DECISION always belongs to the client. Because their, Mindset, Requirements, Priorities and Circumstances also matter. CONCLUSION: PRODUCT can solve a problem. But Consistent problem-solving behaviour can build TRUST.

TECHNICAL CONTENT VS STORYTELLING: Can They Work Together? Every CONCEPT has a STORY While thinking about TECHNICAL CONTENT, a thought came to my mind. “Can TECHNICAL content and STORYTELLING work together?” We often believe that STORYTELLING is only about Emotions, Personal Experiences or Sharing our own Stories. But, I believe STORYTELLING is much broader than that. It is not always about telling an EMOTIONAL STORY. Sometimes, it is about ADDING Context, CREATING a Connection and HELPING people to understand something better. STORYTELLING EXISTS in different forms, such as: Traditional Storytelling, Oral Storytelling, Linear Storytelling, Circular Storytelling, Nested Storytelling and Non-linear Storytelling. These are just a few forms. As READERS, We CONSUME different types of content every day. Because, our INTERESTS are different. Some people CONNECT with emotional content, While OTHERS CONNECT better when concepts are explained through examples and situations. “This is where storytelling becomes valuable.” PURE TECHNICAL content can sometimes feel difficult to understand, BECAUSE it mainly focuses on information. But, When we add CONTEXT and EXAMPLES, then “Readers get a visual understanding of the concept.” FOR EXAMPLE: A DEFINITION explains what something is. But a REAL-LIFE EXAMPLE explains how it works. “That EXAMPLE CREATES a connection between information and understanding.” This is why I believe TECHNICAL WRITING can also use STORYTELLING. STORYTELLING in TECHNICAL content does not replace technical information. “In fact, it helps people to understand that information in a better way.” CONCLUSION: STORYTELLING is not only about sharing stories. It is also about how we communicate ideas.

When WRITING Became More I switched from Academic/Education counselling to writing, as everyone knows. I have already shared about this in a few of my posts and Medium blogs. 7 months back I started writing from absolute zero and after that, my entire focus went into learning. I started writing across multiple platforms and published my observations, which today are the proof of my learnings, consistency and which clearly shows what I can do. Gradually, when I started receiving acknowledgement from readers, then I had a realisation along with it and it changed my thought process. I realised that when people connect, Especially when no one knows you, and Still take out their time not just to read your content, but also They engage with it, Share their thoughts, Remember it, Revisit your content, it builds a certain confidence. Because I feel self-published content is often underrated, but It is that when you do not have outcomes, There is no guidance and Still, you consistently continue your work, Showing your vulnerability and your weaknesses. Especially what I like is, when we self-publish content, Then all kinds of readers and audiences look at our content from different perspectives. They give feedback and sometimes there is criticism as well. With these variations, the content that gets posted becomes a lifetime proof. After all of this, I thought about it for several days and at the end, I decided that when readers connect with a blog or content, why not now turn my work into my own brand, make it memorable, and provide proper services. THAT IS HOW I DECIDED TO BUILD A BRAND. Although there are still so many things I need to learn. But I believe LEARNINGS NEVER END. Every post, every new platform, teaches us something new according to its own requirements. Also, sometimes being demotivated and sometimes motivated, If I had kept waiting until I learned everything first and then started building, Maybe I would not have reached where I am today.

Why Digital Government Fails When We Ignore Complexity Digital government is often discussed as a technology problem. In reality, it is a governance problem expressed through technology. Public services are not greenfield products. They are institutional systems shaped over decades by law, accountability requirements, safeguards, audits, and inter-agency coordination. When these services are digitised, this accumulated complexity does not disappear—it resurfaces in new forms. The success of digital government depends less on front-end innovation and more on robust back-end architecture that respects how government actually works. Where have you seen digital reform underestimate how government really operates?

Camphor was once valued for its stimulating effects on the mind. Science later confirmed its neurological action—and also its risks. This short looks at how evidence can both validate and limit traditional remedies. A reminder that effectiveness and safety are not the same thing.

Evidence-based writing and digitising it for increased reach: Mind-body therapies are now mainstreamed into cancer care. Here is a sample from my work on the subject.

Ghostwriting Sample: Cosmetics 101 — Sunscreens Sunscreens are not a modern invention. Ancient Egyptians used rice bran extract, jasmine, and lupine to prevent skin darkening. In India, sandalwood paste, turmeric, and sesame oil have been part of skincare traditions for thousands of years. Chinese practices relied on rice and herbal pastes, while Native American communities used extracts from Tsuga canadensis (pine) to soothe sunburns. Greek athletes applied olive oil combined with fine sand as a form of sun protection. Contemporary sunscreens work by absorbing, reflecting, or scattering UV radiation—creating a protective barrier before skin damage occurs.

A Short Book on Thinking, Writing, and Internet Arguments I recently published a short book on Amazon that grew out of an online argument—and what it revealed about how people think, write, and talk past each other on the internet. It’s not a guide or a productivity playbook. It’s an exploration of how reasoning breaks down, how writing exposes thinking, and why most debates fail before they begin. If you’re interested in writing that reflects real thought rather than surface-level opinion, this book is a natural extension of my work. Amazon link: [https://amzn.in/d/7kBUkBB]

An ordinary day begins with a job offer and ends in a police station. This is a true account of how quickly stability can disappear — not through grand tragedy, but through a series of small, irreversible moments that unfold within hours. Clear-eyed, restrained, and factual, this is a record of a day that refused to stay ordinary. read more : https://books.apple.com/us/book/hired-at-2-p-m-and-arrested-by-midnight/id6756774037
