SaaS = Software as a Self-soothing Instacalm (https://instacalm.figma.site) -- because there's always things we cannot control in life. Within just a few hours using Figma Make I was able to spin up an app to instantly create a calming meditation practice through the one thing we can control: our breath. I wanted to create something that was immediately usable and had zero learning curve so anyone could pick it up and chill-the-F-out in a matter of seconds. Features: - animated color theme and particles - animated breath pacer for inhale & exhale cycles - ambient background music - optional affirmations 60 versions, 5 breath modes, 5 dark & light color themes, 5 soundscapes, and 80 affirmations later, there's a v1.0 Instacalm app. 😌 Enjoy (https://www.figma.com/community/file/1610553030862780398/instacalm).

Polu Resorts is an elevated hospitality brand inspired by the natural beauty and tranquil rhythm of island life. Our studio was responsible for crafting the brand from the ground up — developing a cohesive visual identity and brand style guide that capture the resort’s modern, coastal sophistication. From typography and color palette to custom graphic elements, every design choice was made to reflect the effortless elegance and serene environment of the destination. In addition to brand creation, we extended the visual system into printed and digital applications, including bespoke business cards and a responsive website designed and developed in Framer. The website’s clean layout, fluid animations, and intuitive structure reflect the same calm and welcoming essence found in the brand.

Fabled Lines Coffee The brand centers around storytelling — like old fishermen swapping tales of the one that got away. Each roast was paired with a myth: you’d start reading the story on the back of the bag and finish it online. Even the wordmark carries a clue — the hook hidden in the “S.” To bring the fables to life, I used AI to generate absurd, cinematic photos of fishermen catching enormous sea creatures. The result? A coffee bag that feels like an artifact from a legend. For me, branding isn’t just visuals — it’s about making something you can feel and taste. And Fabled Lines became a full experience.

I pushed Figma Make to its limits with Odyssée—a moody noir interactive adventure where a mysterious movie ticket pulls you into branching stories, personalized with your name and choices that shape the fate. View Odyssée here: https://volt-fill-58780998.figma.site Built entirely in Make with flickering lights, smooth transitions, hover states, and a smart timeline for immersive storytelling. Interactivity was essential, so I incorporated data entry for personalization (using variables like {userName} across chapters) and branching story paths. This lets users make decisions that shape their own journey, reimagining choose-your-own-adventure in a digital, cinematic format—smooth, responsive, and boundary-pushing. As part of the first licensing deal following the brands’ restructuring, I was brought on to design the first capsule of T‑shirts for these iconic surf brands in Hawaiʻi like Volcom, Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong and RVCA. This launch collection reintroduces the labels to Waikīkī with graphics that blend legacy logos, local surf culture, and a modern visual language meant for today’s traveler and everyday surfer. The collection debuts in a new retail space near the shoreline, using apparel as a storytelling platform to help reestablish Waikīkī Beach as a contemporary global surf destination.
