CarePack: Doggy Care Guide Development

Every dog owner texts the same doggy info 🐶 to sitters and dog walkers over & over again... 😵‍💫  In the US there are over 50 million doggy households, of which 22% of owners use dog walking services and 27% use doggy daycare. That’s a LOT of redundant texts, missed updates, and guesswork. 💬

Our dogs are always there to care for us & make the world a better place. 🐕 It’s time they get the same level of care and consistency from their care teams that their forever humans provide. 💕

To better care for our most precious furry friends (babies if we’re being completely honest), for a Tempo hackathon, I built CarePack 🐾 the doggy care guide that lives in one place, is easy to keep up-to-date & share with your pack's care team! 🐕‍🦺🦮

From planning the user flow to branding, UI/UX, and development I crafted each aspect of the app from concept to production inside of Tempo.

Tempo is an amazingly powerful tool for a design engineering workflow that felt intuitive. It offers a satisfying backend experience which was seamlessly integrated with GitHub, Vercel, and Supabase for deployment of a fully functional app.

While I have not committed to full-time development of this application for commercial use, it's a fantastic resource to have in any designer/engineer's toolkit.
