The Brief:

Create a GENZIFIED ad for Bumble.

Insight:

After delving into Gen-Z slang and exploring different options, I found using the words 'Let them cook,' which symbolises 'allowing someone to make their point' in their social jargon, would be ideal for my ad. It signifies giving people chances and having a good outcome because of it. This represents Bumble the best as the dating app is dependent on others trying to meet new people.
I also found the slang letter 'W,' which symbolises 'win' being used among Gen Z. It signifies a positive outcome which is the result Bumble want from their users.

Execution/Strategy:

I created two spec ads that reference the slang “Let them cook” and the letter “W”. I mimicked the way they’re used by Gen-Z.

Proposition:

Still waiting for them to cook? Time to leave the kitchen and find a new chef who can.
You’ve been talking to each other and they keep taking W’s. Swipe right and you might take one too.
