Casava is a platform offering financial solutions such as income protection and health insurance, tailored to underserved markets. The Casava web application, the company’s first product, was designed to provide users with an intuitive and seamless experience for accessing and managing these services.

As Casava’s first product, there was no existing digital platform to introduce its financial solutions to users. Potential customers needed a clear and engaging way to explore products like income protection and health insurance, manage their policies, and access support.

The goal was to create an intuitive and accessible platform that enables users to seamlessly purchase and manage insurance products, including income protection and health insurance.

The design should simplify complex insurance processes, improve user engagement, and build trust through a clear, user-friendly interface. By focusing on a streamlined onboarding experience, transparent policy details, and easy claims management, the project sought to enhance customer satisfaction and drive adoption of Cassava's digital insurance offerings.

I was responsible for leading the end-to-end design process, including user research to define target audience needs, designing the information architecture and user flows, creating high-fidelity UI designs, developing interactive prototypes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the solution aligned with both business objectives and user expectations.

I designed the Cassava web application from the ground up, incorporating a user-friendly interface with a focus on simplicity and accessibility. The design featured an intuitive onboarding process, a dashboard for managing insurance policies and claims, and responsive design for multi-device accessibility. The visual design was crafted to establish trust, reinforce brand identity, and clearly communicate the value of Casava’s offerings.

The launch of the Casava web application established the company’s digital presence, driving user engagement and a 40% growth in sign-ups within the first three months. As the company’s first product, it successfully laid the foundation for Casava’s brand in the financial services sector, making its solutions more accessible and positioning it as a trusted insurance provider in the market.
