Shuttlers is a mobility service provider aimed at simplifying daily commutes for corporate users and organizations. The company offers solutions for individuals seeking convenient and stress-free transportation to work and for organizations looking to provide efficient staff mobility. To support these goals, I designed the Shuttlers Customer Mobile App for commuters and the Drivers Mobile App for drivers, ensuring seamless scheduling and management of trips.

Inefficiencies in trip scheduling and management affected both customers and drivers.

Traffic congestion and unpredictable schedules made commuting inefficient for individuals and organizations.

Lack of an intuitive platform led to communication gaps between users and drivers.

Operational inefficiencies resulted in lower service reliability.

To design a digital solution that could streamline trip scheduling for customers and enable drivers to accept and manage requests effectively. .

As the lead designer on this project I was responsible for the end-to-end design process including user research, validation of studies, documenting solutions, creating high quality UI designs and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the design aligns with Shuttler’s business and user goals.

I undertook a complete overhaul of Shuttlers' digital platforms, ensuring a strong and cohesive visual language across all products to provide a consistent user experience. For the Customer Mobile App, I included features such as seamless trip scheduling, recurring bookings, real-time bus tracking, push notifications for updates, and secure payment options. The Drivers Mobile App offered tools for accepting trip requests, managing schedules, navigating routes, and tracking performance metrics. Additionally, we introduced a Web Admin Platform to streamline the management of trips, users, and drivers, giving administrators the tools to monitor and optimize operations effectively.

The redesigned Shuttlers apps had a significant positive impact on the business and user experience. Automated trip scheduling and optimized routes improved operational efficiency, reducing delays and creating a smoother commuting experience for users. For customers, the streamlined booking process, real-time tracking, and reliable notifications enhanced satisfaction and engagement with the platform. These improvements contributed to a notable increase in customer retention and referrals. For drivers, the app simplified daily operations by enabling better schedule management and route optimization. The performance dashboard empowered drivers to track their progress and earnings, fostering a sense of accountability and motivation. Overall, the apps played a critical role in Shuttlers’ growth by improving service delivery, attracting more corporate partnerships, and solidifying its reputation as a reliable mobility service provider.
