Securing media placements for clients; your 24/7 PR publicist!

I was appointed Emma Mammano's campaign manager for advertisements and PR from August-November of 2021. I crafted her press releases and advertisement campaigns with local papers in the NJ district she ran for. Advertisements were made by Emma's team and not our PR agency.

In Plainfield, NJ I was in charge of a ribbon cutton ceremony at a local apartment complex that had a history of violent crime and drug problems. The Plainfield PD and mayor's office collaborated to convert a vacant space in the building to have police officers stationed at the complex as a 24/7 resident help center due to the high activity in the area.

I communicated with the Plainfield PD and government who assisted in organizing the event space with food, goodies for the kids, and a tour of the space in the complex. We had the mayor speak, prosecutors office, and many more who spoke at the event.

My client at the time, New Jersey, Conversation Foundation (NJCF) awarded environmental groups grants across NJ. My role was to create a pitch, press release, and distribute the media kit and information out to the media with my managers.
