As an executive assistant, my daily tasks entailed managing calendars, emails, business travel, client affairs, expenses. A major project that I took on was the creation and active management of a SharePoint site where Partners, Principals, Associate Principals, and Practice Managers had access to management meeting minutes, office-wide event information, and a schedule that had the topics for each week's management meeting.

In my time as an executive assistant, I also took on other responsibilities revolving around Health & Wellbeing (H&W).

I became the lead Mental Health & Wellbeing Champion (MHWC) of my office and gained certification as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA). As a MHFA, I was trained to identify symptoms and causes of mental health problems as well as provide empathetic support and a listening ear to employees in our office.

As lead MHWC, I coordinated and participated in many H&W events. One major project was Health & Wellbeing Week 2023. During this week, I, and our lead MHWC in London, worked together to offer the following experiences:

One on One Sessions: these were prescheduled meetings where staff met with me or my colleague to talk candidly. All conversations were confidential and served as an opportunity to gauge the wellbeing of people within the office

Management Coaching Sessions: my colleague and I lead 4 sessions to upper management where we presented information and skills that will help them better support their team members regarding matters of wellbeing and mental health.

Time to Talk: This was a workshop I lead to discuss Stress and Anxiety. Due to my healthcare background, the presentation focused on the signs and symptoms of these mental illnesses and the impact they can have on quality of life and work performance

Another major H&W project I spearheaded was the creation and implementation of an internal H&W website available for staff usage. The website provides education on different types of wellbeing and resources that can assist site visitors on their mental health journeys.
