Dentra wasn't just another dashboard project it was an opportunity to modernize how dental clinics manage their operations, and bring clarity to the complex behind-the-scenes work that supports every patient smile.

The goal was simple: create a clean, intuitive dashboard that allows dental practitioners and clinic staff to manage appointments, track patient treatment plans, monitor finances, and stay on top of daily performance all in one unified view.

When the Dentra team reached out, they had strong backend capabilities but no interface that empowered users to easily access and act on the data. Their existing tools were fragmented, difficult to navigate, and slowing down what should have been simple tasks.

Dental clinics juggle a lot: patients, treatments, appointments, billing, and reporting. But the digital tools they rely on often feel like a burden instead of a solution.

Staff were switching between multiple systems, struggling to access patient histories, and losing time on repetitive admin work instead of focusing on care.

Dentra needed a dashboard that brought everything together simple enough for fast onboarding, but powerful enough to support real-time decision making.

1. Discovery & Requirements Mapping I started by speaking with clinic managers and dental assistants to understand their pain points. From appointment conflicts to missed patient updates, we mapped out the key flows that needed to be improved and visualized.

2. Information Architecture & Wireframing I built a dashboard layout that made critical data visible at a glance including: • Today’s appointments (with color-coded urgency) • Quick patient lookup and case histories • Finance metrics (outstanding payments, revenue) • Real-time treatment progress across dentists

3. UI Design I crafted a modern, dental-friendly UI using a crisp blue-and-white palette that conveyed trust and cleanliness. I prioritized hierarchy and whitespace, with accessible typography and icons that were easy to scan during a busy clinic day.

4. Prototyping & Handoff An interactive prototype brought the dashboard to life. Every section, from calendar view to patient detail modals, was mapped with developer-ready spacing, component rules, and edge-case handling.
