Mobile App Design For Nova Wallet

Most crypto wallets today are built for the already initiated tech-savvy users who understand seed phrases, chains, and tokens. But for the average person? The experience is overwhelming. Confusing navigation, cluttered UI, and poor onboarding make Web3 inaccessible for curious newcomers who just want to get started.

Nova Wallet was designed to bridge the gap between Web2 familiarity and Web3 functionality. The goal was simple: make managing crypto assets intuitive, secure, and elegant whether you're a beginner or a seasoned user.

Research: We interviewed both crypto novices and experienced users to identify key pain points most notably: “I don’t know where to start,” and “The wallet UI is too overwhelming.”

Wireframing & Iteration: I mapped out streamlined user flows focusing on key tasks: checking balances, sending/receiving crypto, and viewing asset insights.

UI Design: I crafted a clean, modern interface with dark mode aesthetics, vibrant accent colors, and visual hierarchy to reduce decision fatigue.

Prototyping: Tested micro-interactions like toggles, swipes, and smooth transitions to improve learnability and flow.

Minimal Wallet Dashboard – Real-time wallet balance, quick actions (Send, Receive, Buy), and portfolio overview at a glance.

Asset Details View – Market trends, performance graphs, and live statistics with intuitive tap-based exploration.

Receive Screen with QR – No-friction crypto deposits using QR or copy-to-clipboard wallet address.

Navigation Bar – Clear bottom nav for fast access to Home, Wallet, Notifications, and Profile.

80% reduction in user drop-off during the onboarding stage (user testing phase).

Positive feedback from both Web2 and Web3 testers on clarity, speed, and interface trustworthiness.

Built with scalability in mind: architecture allows future integration of staking, NFTs, and multi-chain support.
