Within Her Network — Mentorship platform

Within Her Network is a mentorship initiative built to help women navigate the transition from education into professional life with access to guidance, community, and people who have already walked the path.

The challenge was bigger than creating a website. The digital experience needed to communicate the organization's mission, establish trust, explain how the mentorship model works, and ultimately encourage the right people to apply — all while feeling human rather than institutional.

I designed and built the experience end-to-end.

The experience is built around storytelling.

Rather than immediately presenting a conventional nonprofit-style website, the page gradually introduces the problem Within Her Network exists to solve, the story behind the organization, how its mentorship model works, and what participants can expect to gain.

The result is a narrative flow that takes visitors from understanding the gap → discovering the solution → understanding the program → taking action.

Mentorship is inherently personal. Before someone applies, they need to believe that the organization understands their experience and can genuinely help them move forward.

I used a warm, editorial visual direction to balance credibility with personality — expressive typography, intentional whitespace, human imagery, structured layouts, and subtle motion.

The goal was to make the organization feel established without making it feel corporate.

The website isn't just an information page. It gives visitors a clear understanding of the mentorship journey.

What happens inside a cohort

What participants leave with

How technology supports the experience

How to apply as a mentee or mentor

Every section has a job: build understanding, build trust, or move the visitor closer to action.

I didn't stop at the Figma file.

I translated the complete experience into a responsive production website using Next.js, TypeScript, GSAP, and Vercel, implementing the interaction and motion system alongside the interface.

The result is a cohesive experience where the visual language, content, interactions, and implementation work as one system.

Within Her Network now has a digital experience that gives its mission a clear visual identity and creates a direct path from discovery to participation.

From the first interaction to the application journey, the website was designed to make mentorship feel less like a program someone has to navigate and more like a community they can see themselves becoming part of.
