I’ve worked with all kinds of teams - big, small, early-stage, post-launch, but this was different. What started as a expert badge mission for me quickly turned into a creative sprint: designing a full library of real, usable app templates in collaboration with Contra and the Bolt.

Not mockups. Not dribbble shots. Fully working products.

Bolt is a platform that lets anyone make up a full-stack app (or website) without touching code. It’s super fast, very powerful, and super fun once you get the hang of it.

Contra approached me to partner on something unique: a public showcase of just how good products on Bolt could be, if given the right design, UX, and product love. I would never say no to this.

We didn’t want fluff. We wanted cool products that could serve designers, creative or anyone really.

My job was everything design-related and some:

Ideation & prompt writing

UX

Full UI design (web + responsive)

Copy, flow logic, motion

Testing and debugging builds in Bolt

Writing launch-ready case studies and publishing templates live

But it was more than just templates, we were shipping focused, valuable tools. Each one designed in 1–2 days, refined, published, and ready to be cloned by anyone who wants to just into Bolt.

Here’s a handful of the 15+ live templates I led:

Jarvis – A Grok-style AI assistant UI with file upload and chat flow

FocusFlow – A session-based productivity tool to help users focus and reflect

Internow – A support desk/inbox experience with ticket management

MapIt – A visual product and website mapping tool with drag-and-drop cards

UserManual – A personal onboarding doc people could share with clients or teams

MuseKit – A moodboard + brief + color system all rolled into one

EXCN – A stock/portfolio dashboard with real data structure, styled like Bloomberg Lite

Contra Profile - A real, live, functioning replica of the Contra profile page.

Each one started with a small idea and ended as a public-ready product anyone could try, or launch.

Speed beats clarity for Bolt. You don’t need six weeks to define good UX — you need the right constraints.

Copy and structure matter more than fancy visuals when launching MVPs.

Working inside a real no-code platform helped me design with limitations, not around them.

Bolt is seriously powerful. Supabase + Framer Motion + Tailwind + Radix - all wired up fast (when you get the hang of it).
