Hive – Enhancing Customer Experience for Luxury Restaurant App
Project Overview:
Hive is a high-end restaurant mobile application designed to elevate the dining experience through intuitive design and wellness-focused features. I was brought on to enhance the overall customer experience by streamlining the ordering process and incorporating health-conscious elements tailored to the needs of modern diners.
Goal & Objective:
The goal was to design an elegant and seamless mobile experience that meets the expectations of luxury restaurant patrons while promoting healthier eating habits. Key objectives included simplifying the ordering process, improving the visual appeal of dishes, and empowering users to make informed food choices.
Process:
User Research: Conducted in-depth research to understand user behavior, dining preferences, and expectations from a premium food ordering experience.
UX Strategy: Focused on balancing luxury aesthetics with functionality and health-driven content.
Design Execution:
Calorie Information: Displayed nutritional content and calorie counts for each menu item to encourage informed decisions.
Healthy Choices: Integrated features that highlight vegetable-rich options and offer incentives for selecting healthier meals.
High-Quality Visuals: Used appealing, high-resolution images to reflect the premium nature of the brand and enhance the menu browsing experience.
Seamless Ordering: Created a smooth, intuitive user flow that simplifies ordering and checkout, with minimal friction.
Result:
The final design successfully merged elegance with functionality. The intuitive interface, paired with the health-conscious features, improved the user experience and aligned perfectly with the brand’s luxury identity. User testing confirmed that the app was easy to navigate and provided a premium feel that resonated with its target audience.
