Zshift – End-to-End Product Design for a Shift Automation Platform

Project Overview:

Zshift is a platform designed to automate shift scheduling for employees and streamline workforce management. As the solo designer on this project, I was responsible for the complete design of the dashboard experience, a full website redesign, and updates to the mobile application.

Goal & Objective:

The primary goal was to create an intuitive, user-friendly interface that simplifies shift scheduling and employee data management. The objective was to improve usability across all touchpoints—dashboard, website, and mobile app—ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

Process:

Dashboard Design: Designed end-to-end screens for the web dashboard, including information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Website Redesign: Gave the Zshift website a fresh and modern look with improved navigation and content structure to clearly communicate the product's value proposition.
Mobile App: Designed new screens for the mobile experience to enhance accessibility and functionality on the go.
User Testing: Conducted usability testing sessions to gather feedback and made iterative improvements based on real user insights.

Result:

Users who tested the updated product shared positive feedback, highlighting how easy and intuitive it was to navigate. The improvements across web and mobile platforms significantly enhanced user satisfaction and usability.
