In November 2023, I joined Fenris Media Ltd as a Product Designer to lead the complete redesign of All Access Fans, a platform empowering African content creators. My task was to overhaul the platform’s entire design to provide a seamless, responsive experience across both mobile and web views.

Previously, All Access Fans was limited to a mobile view that wasn’t responsive for web users, creating a need for a unified design that performs beautifully across devices. Collaborating closely with the project manager and development team, I ensured alignment on the project scope and goals throughout each phase.

Working with a team of developers and the project manager, I led the design efforts from concept to final implementation. As the Product Designer, I was responsible for creating responsive designs, managing the look and feel of both mobile and web interfaces, and ensuring a smooth user experience for both creators and fans.

All Access Fans is more than a platform; it’s a movement aimed at helping African creators turn their passions into profits. The redesign sought to address major usability and responsiveness issues and elevate the platform’s user experience to empower creators to engage with their fans effortlessly, regardless of the device they use.

My approach involved diving deeply into user needs and aligning them with All Access Fans’ brand goals. I aimed to build an accessible, user-friendly platform that delivers a consistent experience across all screen sizes.

The main objectives of the redesign were to:

I also realized that streamlining features and focusing on simplicity improved user retention and reduced complexity. Close collaboration with the development team and stakeholders ensured that the project stayed aligned and efficient. Adopting a mobile-first approach was crucial for creating a seamless experience across all devices, while maintaining consistency in design strengthened the platform's brand identity and built user trust.
