PWC Philadelphia celebrated it's 5th year at the end of 2023 and realized it was time that this 100% volunteer organization hired an Executive Director to grow its momentum as a professional organization that breaks through 🥽 glass ceilings. This is the story ⬇️

We support, advance, and connect women and promote diversity within the architecture, engineering, construction, and related industries.

The Need

PWC Philadelphia's founding board is cycling out to make room for the growth of younger members into leadership. As with every startup organization that matures, replacing the powerhouse startup leadership 🦸🏻‍♀️ requires care to ensure the preservation of its valuable core culture! The new Executive Director role should lead and manage all aspects of the Philadelphia Chapter of Professional Women in Construction, including administrative, managerial, and coordination responsibilities to ensure the efficient functioning of this growing chapter while empowering its volunteer leaders to continue to deliver its important mission.

Fractional Executive Director

for the

Philadelphia chapter of Professional Women in Construction

As a fractional Executive Director, I am proud to:

Chapter Growth, Strategy, and Administration:

Work seamlessly with chapter leaders and committees to develop and implement strategic plans for chapter growth and impact.

Monitor and report on chapter performance and outcomes by establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic goals and to implement and maintain an oversight dashboard to steer board discussions.

Work closely with the treasurer on chapter budgets and financial reports and to recommend and implement huge cost-saving discounts for nonprofit technology.

Communication and Outreach:

Manage and implement the transition to a new website and association management software with marketing automation.

Encourage volunteer committees to break through silo walls for collaboration on strategic objectives.

Promote the chapter's activities and initiatives through various communication channels, such as social media, newsletters, and websites.

Design marketing and communications collateral materials for membership, sponsorship, website and membership communications.

Create and launch website advertising capabilities to promote marketing campaigns for membership drive and student recognition award programs.

Fundraising:

Automate event sponsorship marketing on the website which encouraged new donors to engage with PWC Philadelphia, thereby increasing revenue and membership.

Propose revenue diversification strategic plan to improve financial stability for programming.

Event Coordination:

Plan, coordinate, and execute chapter events, including meetings, workshops, and fundraising activities that boost membership engagement and fulfill our mission.

Develop mentorship programming including events, and member relationship building channels through our new association platform.
