Madbot – Personal AI Assistant for Marketing Conversations
The Premise
Back in 2018, before “AI assistant” and “marketing automation” became default SaaS categories, I explored a bold idea:
What if we replaced forms, funnels, and click fatigue with conversations?
Madbot wasn’t just a chatbot. It was designed as an AI-powered marketing companion—trained to engage users like a friend, help define goals, personalize actions, and increase conversions through micro-interactions.
This was an early attempt to gamify marketing tasks, reduce overwhelm, and humanize automation.
What I Built?
1. Brand Identity & Visual Concept
Created a playful, vivid brand using gradients, quirky character design, and a fresh palette to make automation feel fun, not sterile.
Used layered graphics to visually communicate motion, personalization, and intelligence.
2. Core Product Proposition
12-minute AI-powered micro-actions
Conversational flows that replace long forms and generic funnels
Personalized goal-setting and feedback through chat-style UX
Integration hub with tools like Mailchimp, Buffer, Intercom, etc.
3. UX & Deck Flow Design
Designed a full pitch deck that walked users through:
→ Problem (low engagement, high spend, poor personalization)
→ Market Trend (rise of instant messaging over social media)
→ Solution (Madbot's personal assistant logic)
→ Outcome (boosted conversions, reduced friction, user-guided journeys)
Used annotated mockups to demonstrate how a conversation with Madbot would unfold in context (lead gen, competitor analysis, marketing training, etc.)
4. Future-Forward Concepts Embedded
Learning-on-the-go modules (real-time skill building inside the assistant)
Automated competitor analysis as chat interactions
Adaptive conversation tone based on user behavior
Outcomes & Strategic Takeaways
Though Madbot wasn’t launched as a product, the idea informed my later work in building AI-powered tools like AiRizz and interactive frameworks like PracticeGF.
It became a prototype for how I approach:
Personalization at scale
Conversation-led UX
Emotionally intelligent automation
Funnel-free user onboarding
Why It Still Matters in My Portfolio
Madbot was a precursor to what the market now calls “AI-powered marketing enablement.”
Back in 2018, I was already experimenting with:
GPT-style input modeling (pre-ChatGPT boom)
Micro-interaction design
Frictionless learning embedded into product flows
Marketing funnels as conversations, not clicks
