Objective: The project aimed to create a powerful and visually compelling promotional video for Nike, featuring a current Olympic champion to highlight the brand’s dedication to athletic excellence and innovation.

Context: This promotional video was commissioned by Nike, a global leader in athletic wear, as part of their campaign to inspire and connect with athletes worldwide. The video was filmed using a film camera, adding a cinematic and authentic aesthetic that resonated with the brand’s premium positioning.

Challenges: The main challenge was ensuring the seamless integration of the raw, emotional performance of the athlete with the brand’s polished storytelling approach. Capturing the essence of the Olympic champion's journey while maintaining Nike's visual identity was critical.

Solution: I edited the footage to balance the vintage texture of film with modern editing techniques, enhancing the emotional tone of the video. Each sequence was carefully curated to highlight the athlete's dynamism while maintaining a cohesive narrative flow.

Lessons Learned: Through this project, I refined my ability to work with analog footage, achieving a balance between artistic expression and brand consistency. I also gained insights into tailoring visuals to evoke emotion and elevate storytelling.
