Capture rare performance cars in the wild by snapping photos and adding them to your personal Supercar Index. Each sighting expands your visual catalog and brings something new to the community. As you collect more cars, you build a unique archive of sightings—complete with details on rarity, performance specs, and standout features. Finally, connect with like-minded enthusiasts who share your drive, exchange knowledge, and explore each other’s collections as you grow together in your automotive journey.

With Superdex’s built-in camera and location-based features, capturing rare and exotic cars is effortless—whether they’re parked around the corner or cruising on the other side of the world. Build your personal collection by cataloging unique finds, earning badges, tracking your progress, and exploring your friends’ Superdexes. Along the way, dive deeper into the cars you love by learning about their performance specs, rarity, and history. Whether you’re a casual spotter or a hardcore enthusiast, Superdex takes car spotting to the next level.

Superdex was designed with a clean, immersive, and performance-focused UI to match the high-end aesthetic of the car spotting community it serves. The app features a dark theme that highlights user content, especially vehicle photography, while minimizing visual distraction. Navigation is intuitive and consistent, with a fixed bottom tab bar providing direct access to key sections like Home, Search, Dex, and Profile. Each screen balances function and clarity, from the elegant profile setup flow to the crisp car gallery layout. Subtle animations, rounded cards, and modern typography help create an interface that feels premium and community-driven. The UI adapts to multiple use cases, such as solo collection building or active social interaction, all while maintaining an uncluttered, image-first experience.

Superdex gives users the tools to capture, catalog, and connect around their automotive passions. The app includes a custom in-app camera with a clean layout, real-time image preview, and limits for how many shots can be captured per post—encouraging thoughtful uploads. Users can add location, make, model, trim, and year for each post, building a personal “Dex” while contributing to the larger community. The feed enables discovery through posts by those you follow or nearby spotters, with a sleek detail view for commenting and engaging. Users can also search by make or username, follow others, and view public or private collections. With features like post-only-to-Dex and unknown car spot assistance, Superdex balances hardcore accuracy with social fun—making it as powerful for car experts as it is accessible for new enthusiasts.

To support the client’s goal of scaling the application for users across the globe, we needed a tech stack that combined speed, flexibility, and scalability. Supabase was the obvious choice for the backend—it allowed us to move quickly while providing robust security and the ability to scale effortlessly. On the frontend, we chose FlutterFlow for its rapid development capabilities and seamless integration with Supabase. This combination enabled us to deliver a high-performing, scalable application without compromising on development speed or user experience.
