🔍 Overview

I designed the VentureRamp admin dashboard, which aims to empower administrators with an accessible, user-centric interface that optimizes their ability to oversee and manage multiple facets of the VentureRamp crowdfunding platform, enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating seamless user interactions.

Client: NASD PLC
Project duration: 2 months

🔒 Problems

The Venture Ramp crowdfunding website needed a web interface for admins to be able to manage users, the website, and fundraiser projects created by these users. It had to be one that had an intuitive enough user interface for admins to be able to manage all these different facets of the website

📃Requirements

One of the advantages I had here was that I had designed the website that the dashboard was going to be based on. Some of the things stakeholders had mentioned that they wanted the dashboard to be able to do were:
Streamlined User Management: Develop an interface that allows admins to efficiently manage user accounts, permissions, and interactions while ensuring ease of navigation.
Effective Project Management: Enable admins to oversee, moderate, and support fundraiser projects initiated by users, providing necessary tools for project curation and assistance.
Customer Support: Enable admins to manage and respond to user queries, track support tickets, and provide timely assistance, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience
Website Content Management System: Create tools and controls for admins to oversee website functionalities, content, and configurations for a cohesive user experience.
Blog: The dashboard should enable admins to curate, edit, schedule, and track blog content effortlessly, ensuring engaging and relevant updates for the platform's community.
Press release: The dashboard is also expected to be able to send out marketing content to users via email and SMS messages.

ℹ️ Information Architecture

I decided to take some time to properly layout the different sections of the application with a good IA.

Website CMS
Based on the timeline I was given, I decided to skip the Low fidelity stage, and design and iterate in Higher fidelity designs. This decision was born out of the constraints of the project.
Support
This section of the dashboard helps admin users to manage support tickets efficiently by tagging support tickets based on the type of issue that it is being opened for. This is done automatically by the system as the users on the Donor user dashboard choose ticket categories
