Project Overview

"Conferinta Nationala Tineri in misiune: Tu faci diferenta" is a Christian conference aimed at youth, fostering a sense of mission and empowerment. The project involved creating a comprehensive visual branding strategy and designing digital graphics for various social media platforms to promote the conference.

My Role

As the lead designer, I conceptualized the conference's visual identity from scratch, aligning it with the youth empowerment and mission theme. I developed all digital graphics for social media promotion, including videos, reels, stories, carousel posts, and simple image posts for platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
Issues I Had to Fix: The primary challenge was creating a distinct and memorable visual identity for the conference that would appeal to youth and convey the themes of mission and empowerment. I needed to establish a unified look that was consistent across all social media platforms while resonating with a diverse audience. This involved designing elements that were visually engaging, adaptable, and clearly reflective of the event's purpose.

Process

Client Interview: Initiated the project with a thorough interview to understand the client’s vision and conference goals.
Design Proposals: Developed 2-3 distinct visual directions for the conference’s identity, each with multiple formats (wide, square, tall) to accommodate different social media platforms and promotional needs.
Selection and Customization: Worked closely with the client to select a preferred direction, then refined this choice by presenting various color options and adjustments to fit their vision better.
Style Guide Creation: Established a style guide detailing color schemes, typography, and design elements to ensure consistency across all visuals.
Asset Development: Designed and finalized assets for social media, including videos, stories, reels, carousel posts, and static images, optimized for both Instagram and Facebook.
This approach enabled a cohesive and visually compelling brand identity, effectively engaging the target youth audience and amplifying the conference's message across digital channels.

Design Solution and Assets Used:

The visual branding was crafted to resonate with the target audience of young people, utilizing contemporary design elements and vibrant colors. I employed a mix of graphic design software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and video editing software to create engaging and dynamic visual assets. The designs were strategically tailored for various social media formats, ensuring maximum impact and reach among youth.
