Imran Khan
Project Overview
KitchenAid is a smart cooking companion app designed to help users prepare meals with more confidence and less effort. The focus was to create a visually intuitive experience that blends recipe guidance, step-by-step instructions, and ingredient tracking into one seamless flow. The challenge was to simplify complex cooking workflows while keeping the interface friendly, clean, and distraction-free for everyday home cooks.
Design Approach
Home cooks often struggle with scattered recipes, unclear steps, and losing track of ingredients in the middle of cooking. Our design approach focused on reducing friction through structured layouts, easy ingredient access, and clear instructions. We aimed to create a calm, supportive experience that helps users stay focused and maintain a smooth cooking rhythm.
Final Experience & Outcome
The final design delivers a smooth and guided cooking experience—allowing users to move from discovering recipes to preparing dishes with ease. Visual cues and simple interactions support users through every step. By refining the hierarchy and simplifying actions, KitchenAid helps users stay organized, cook faster, and enjoy a more effortless kitchen workflow.
