Consistent Visual Branding (2019–2024) for Oleos & Canvas
Built and maintained a unified visual identity over 5 years for an art platform bridging Cuban and global artists. Integrated editorial design, social media, and video under one cohesive brand — so every piece felt like part of the same story.
My Role and Strategic Value
As the lead designer and brand strategist, I defined the visual language, tone, and narrative framework for Oleos & Canvas. From concept to execution, I ensured consistency across:
Editorial design (catalogs, proposals, brochures)
Social media campaigns (Instagram, Facebook)
Video content (coming soon — currently in production)
This long-term partnership allowed me to evolve the brand organically, responding to cultural shifts and audience feedback — making it not just visually consistent, but emotionally resonant.
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva (for rapid social mockups), Adobe Premiere (for upcoming video projects), Figma (for web collaboration).
Conclusion
Over five years, Oleos & Canvas transformed from a local art initiative into a globally recognized platform — thanks to a visual identity that was both flexible and unmistakable.
This project taught me that consistent branding isn’t about repetition — it’s about resonance. Every poster, post, or page was designed to feel like a chapter in the same story — one that celebrates art, culture, and connection.

Proposal Book – Strategic Brand Alignment for Partnerships
Designed a high-end proposal book to pitch Oleos & Canvas to international partners like Pernod Ricard. The clean layout and vibrant artwork showcased the brand’s professionalism while staying true to its artistic soul — key to securing collaborations.
#ProudToBe Toronto – Global Expansion Through Collaboration
Led the visual identity for this cross-continental exhibition, partnering with Amazon Canada. The Canadian maple leaf motif was seamlessly integrated into the existing Oleos & Canvas aesthetic — showing how the brand can scale globally while staying rooted in its Cuban heritage.
Journey to the Island” – Event Branding & Print Design
Designed boarding pass-style invitations and posters for this magical realism-inspired exhibition. The travel motif became a recurring theme, symbolizing cultural exchange and artistic discovery — reinforcing the brand’s core message.
stagram as a Narrative Tool – Connecting Culture Through Questions
Curated a series of posts asking emotional, personal questions (“When can I go back to my city?”), paired with powerful portraits. This strategy turned social media from a promotional channel into a storytelling platform — deepening audience connection.
