Enterprise Platform Redesign — Banking

When a bank operates across multiple markets, design inconsistency isn't just a visual problem — it's an operational one.

The challenge

A major financial institution had accumulated years of fragmented digital products across different regions and business segments. Each market had its own visual language. Teams were duplicating work. Users felt the inconsistency. Leadership wanted one system to rule them all — without erasing the regional nuances that mattered.

The solution

The work started with a full audit of existing digital touchpoints across markets — mapping what existed, what conflicted, and what could be unified. From there, a scalable design system was built from the ground up: reusable components, standardized layout and typography rules, and design tokens that enabled localization without visual fragmentation.
The system was designed to be owned by multiple teams, not just one designer. Documentation and handoff materials ensured it could scale independently.
The design system expanded beyond its initial scope — growing to cover additional business segments including group and corporate products.
