Sleeplady Mobile App

Project Title: Sleeplady

Overview: Sleeplady is a mobile product designed for nursing mothers to help keep track of their baby's activities such as sleep, feeding, diaper change etc. This then helps parents understand their baby’s sleep, feeding, or diaper time patterns as well as help the parent plan out their routines around these patterns. Sleeplady also uses AI to send customized messages and notifications based on the metrics recorded. Sleeplady was designed in about 4 weeks with a team of 1 designer 1 project manager and the Client.

Challenges: Nursing mothers often struggle with understanding and managing their babies' sleep, feeding, and diaper change routines, leading to stress, exhaustion, and difficulty planning their schedules. Without a structured way to track and analyze these patterns, parents may feel overwhelmed and unsure about their baby's needs, which can affect their overall well-being and productivity.

Timeline: 4 Weeks

Quick record button on sleep and feed buttons as those are the most common baby activities discovered during research

Allow a short sleep cycle flow - This flow allows users to record multiple cycles in one record in cases where the baby wakes up and falls asleep in short intervals

Sleep state system - This allows users to record sleep state such as ‘start putting baby to sleep and baby is sleeping’. This way parents know how long it takes to rock their babies to sleep and better plan for that each time.

Collapsible information - Due to how much information parents need to provide to track a record, I employed the use of an alternative collapsible button that parents can access when taking a record or later when they have the time to do so.
