Qonto — Transfer form redesign

Anthony Zaccardi

Make a transfer with a free mind

💪 Challenge
At a certain point, we launched a big research phase on the transfer flow. It had not changed for years and the demands on CS were substantial. Several disturbing points came up. We had to select, prioritize and time
🎯 Goal
The objective was to reduce the number of errors made by users (mistake in the IBAN, forgotten reference, etc.), by offering a more intuitive form. A form where mandatory and optional fields are well distinguished. And where what can be filled in beforehand, is already filled in, to save time for the customer
💎 Solution
The solution was to put the optional fields in cards that the user can activate or not. This perfectly isolates the mandatory fields. What we also implemented is the on-the-fly verification of the information put in the fields, rather than waiting for the user to press the button to report the error(s).
