💪 Challenge

At Qonto, there was a time when 18% of user requests were for instant transfers. So we naturally prioritized this topic.Although obvious at first glance, implementing instant transfers in an interface is not that simple. The main challenge lies in: "why should we do it, how to whom, for how much, in what context, etc."

🎯 Goal

Our goal was to make instant transfers the norm for Qonto users. Of course it was not possible to completely replace the classic SEPA transfers with instant transfers. We released gradually, measured and communicated a lot about it. The objectives for us were: to bring value to our users and to relieve the Qonto customer support team

The solution was to offer all Qonto customers, free of charge and without limitations, the option of instant transfer (activated by default for all new transfers). While keeping SEPA transfers. On desktop and mobile. Only for transfers in Euros
