A VPN mobile app designed to make an underrated, often-overlooked product category feel accessible and trustworthy to everyone, not just tech-savvy users.

VPN technology is invisible by nature. To make it tangible, I used a hyperbolic vector approach with semi-realistic rendering. Each illustration exaggerates a core concept (encryption, global access, speed, anonymity) into an iconic, symbolic visual that communicates instantly without relying on technical jargon.

The challenge: VPN users are incredibly diverse. The visuals needed to resonate across demographics, from casual mobile users to privacy-conscious professionals. Every illustration was designed to convey trust and clarity at a glance

Clean, off-white backgrounds let the product speak for itself. These device mockups were designed for app store listings, social media ads, and landing page hero sections.

The client was satisfied with the outcome of the idea. The visual direction successfully translated abstract VPN technology into approachable, trust-building promotional assets that speak to a broad, diverse audience.
