Your Coffee Break is a UK lifestyle magazine covering career, fashion, home, money, and beauty. The publishing surface is a custom WordPress theme: an ACF flexible homepage, a category mega menu with latest stories, archive layouts, infinite scroll, and a social video block. The archive is large — about 10,500 articles.

Designed and developed Your Coffee Break end to end: the look, the templates, and the publishing setup behind them.

It reads like a magazine. Juana on the headlines, self-hosted Satoshi on the interface, a warm cream ground, and a 12-column grid that goes full width on mobile and splits into editorial columns on desktop. The result is a site that feels designed, not assembled from a theme.

Editors run the homepage from one Advanced Custom Fields layout. They stack featured stories, latest posts, a social video block, category sections, and an infinite-scroll feed without touching code. The desktop menu is the same idea: each item is a category, opening into its subcategories and the four latest stories.

Archives lead with a five-post hero, then a card grid. Infinite scroll stays on the first page. Every page after that is a real, numbered URL, so the archive stays browsable and each story keeps a stable address. Single articles use the same type and card system, with an alternate template when a piece needs a different treatment.
