Visual Identity and Packaging Design for Zest Organics

Overview
Zest Organics is a cold-pressed juice company based in Canada, focused on delivering fresh, organic blends with vibrant flavours. The client approached me to create a visual identity and packaging that would reflect the brand’s energy, freshness, and commitment to natural ingredients — but with a fun, bold twist that stands out in the organic juice market.
My Role
I was responsible for: Concept development for logo and packaging Colour palette selection Label and bottle design for four juice flavours Presentation visuals for marketing
The Challenge
Most organic brands lean heavily on earthy greens and muted tones, but Zest Organics wanted to break that pattern. The goal was to design a bright, modern, and playful identity that still felt clean and natural — appealing to health-conscious consumers looking for juices that are as vibrant as they are nutritious.
The Solution
I designed a bold logo featuring “Zest” and “Organics” in a fresh yellow (Citrus Burst – #FEDB3F), with a playful green accent above the “E” (Vitality – #3EB750) symbolizing growth and freshness. The background uses a strong pink tone (Pomegranate Punch – #CE0F6C) to add energy and differentiate the brand on shelves.
Each juice flavour was given a unique identity that complements the overall brand: • Citrus Burst – Orange, lemon, ginger | Vibrant yellow palette • Green Glow – Apple, spinach, cucumber, mint | Crisp green tones • Pomegranate Power – Pomegranate, raspberry | Rich red-pink hues • Tropical Zesty – Papaya, mango, passionfruit | Lush tropical orange
The packaging design combines clean typography, fresh colour blocks, and simple graphic accents that highlight the natural ingredients while creating shelf appeal.
Creative Process
Discovery: I explored competitor brands, gathered mood boards, and discussed Zest Organics’ vision for a non-traditional organic look.
Concept Sketches: I experimented with colour combinations and logo forms that balance playfulness and clarity.
Design & Refinement: I created and refined the logo, packaging mockups, and final labels — always prioritizing legibility, colour vibrancy, and cohesion.
Final Presentation: Delivered polished packaging designs ready for production and marketing use.
The Result
A fresh, modern visual identity that reflects the joyful, natural spirit of Zest Organics. Bright, eye-catching packaging that stands out in the organic juice aisle. A brand system that can grow with future product lines while staying consistent.
What I Solved
I helped Zest Organics differentiate in a crowded market by creating a brand that feels organic but looks bold and fresh — helping the company connect with both loyal health-conscious buyers and new customers seeking vibrant, natural products.
