Backup is a tool that helps content creators to download their tiktok videos and repurpose them across different platforms. *Since this tool is still in stealth mode, I am only able to share the impact I have done on the onboarding flow.

This specific project showcase how simplifying onboarding flow can improve complete (flow from 61.3% to 98.2%) and lessen drop off rate (from 30.2% to >1%), which we are able to bring users to use our main feature in downloading flow as soon as possible.

Time: Jun 2024 - Feb 2025

Context: Onboarding is the first touch point that users will use when they first come onto BackUp's platform. Users tend to get stuck during onboarding due to redundant information and technical difficulty.

Goal: To simplify and ensure technical feature is working at least 90% of the time before launch.
