"Stag® required a brand identity that matched their high-end, luxurious service whilst appealing directly to high net worth individuals."

A brand set in the highest levels of financial service for modern men, Stag® needed a brand identity to match. The companies Stag App® allows their customers to manage their finances in one place, while their personalised management services provide 24/7 account support and financial advice. Their brand needed to embody their market leading service and their commitment to luxury mens finance.

"Embody style & luxury, moulded with clear communication of benefit and use, displaying the premium financial services of the company."

Stag® presented a unique dilemma. Positioning as not only a reliable and high quality financial services company, but also as a luxury banking for high net worth men. The identity had to embody style and luxury, and effectively communicate the huge advantages for banking and investing with Stag®. The challenge was to truly define what luxury branding as a finance company meant, and embed that in a targeted visual and written language style.

Challenges :

▸ Define luxury banking through competitor research and create an identity unique to the market.

▸ Merge language and visual style to create a cohesive identity that matched the company values.

▸ Develop an industry standard UI for Stag App® whilst maintaining the visual language and embodiment of style and luxury in a user friendly product.

The Tactic

The development process for the Stag® identity was guided by deep research including multiple stages of discovery surrounding luxury language and visuals, and how that could be incorporated into the financial services sector. That early stage definition provided the fundamental guidance to craft visual messages and systems that told the right story, whilst embodying the sense of class and luxury the brand represented.

Stag® were equipped with a full identity system complete with visual system and language toolkit. Sleek edges, luxury colours and premium imagery made up an identity ecosystem that was instantly recognisable. The Stag App® was also designed to be a user friendly, and luxury experience for a high net worth individual's financial management needs.
