Clarity is key.

Let me be clear:

I am not a grantwriter.

Sure, I have over 7-years experience working with-and-in NPO's. And I can complete a grant, from the sourcing to the completion... ...And, I have even written a grant writing program...

But it’s just not my focus.

Which is fine ⬇️

Because for this project, I would be using skills to refine, not create.

For this project, I provided perspective, clarity and direction. More 'navigator' than lead lead-writer, or 'driver.'

And sometimes a second set of eyes is exactly what’s needed.

They wanted to make sure we were matching the tone of the organization, and the needs of the Funding source for this grant.

Because writing is about connecting, empathy and understanding.

So ensuring the proposal was simple was the point.
