An online rapid dating networking application where you can meet people via video chat without filters.

We aimed to tackle the superficiality of most dating apps by prioritizing communication over appearance. Our app randomly matches 10 men and 10 women for timed conversations, giving them the option to share contact information afterward.

Flutter - Agora - NodeJS - Firebase - Figma

I began by crafting design prototypes in Figma while holding meetings to grasp the product concept and desired user experience.

Once we finalized the MVP design plans, I focused on implementing them in Flutter, ensuring a smooth, native-like experience. I integrated Agora RTC for video chat and Firebase for authentication and user data management.

The majority of my time was dedicated to building the event system. This involved creating a NodeJS server to schedule events, pair participants randomly, and manage the entire event process from start to finish. This proved to be the most challenging aspect of development, requiring me to establish optimized testing workflows to test the system solo.

I've developed an MVP for the concept, currently undergoing validation. We've conducted several user tests with closed groups. Pending success, we'll assemble a team for further application development. Regarding my role, I'll transition to a consultant position, remaining in the background.

This project underscores the value of client involvement in the development process and their ongoing feedback. Their engagement not only motivates me but also ensures the product is customized to their needs.
