This job came to me via a Commercals producer I've worked with on several car campaigns. She brought me onboard before the shoot took place and I had several phone calls with the director and the Ad agency before I began writing the music.

Rolls Royce were trying to move away from their previous musical styles so I had to try several different genres before we had one that they liked. I was given a rough cut to then work this piece of music to and there would have been several versions going to the client to get feedback.

The helicopter sound was really important to them and the way in which it was integrated into the score. Rolls Royce were very particular and I remember working right up until the deadline to make sure everything they wanted was in place.
