Brief:

Tirecheck, a company specialising in Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), needed to elevate its brand from a behind-the-scenes service supplier to a recognisable and trusted solutions provider in the industry.

Client Business Problem:

Competing on price was unsustainable.
Each new client required a new, customised service approach.

Audience-Level Challenges:

EU legislation making TPMS products mandatory by 2023.

We embarked on an extensive brand strategy for Tirecheck, aiming to redefine their market presence. Our approach included a comprehensive brand audit and in-depth audience and staff interviews to understand the existing brand perception and uncover opportunities for

We transformed Tirecheck, a €20 million annual turnover business, with a brand refresh that resonated across all touchpoints. We applied the new brand and product architecture to their new website, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience. This rebranding effort also contributed to Tirecheck's success at international trade shows, enhancing their market presence and appeal.

Process:

Workshops: Conducted two 4-hour sessions over two days using Miro with five senior members (four engineers and one sales representative).
Brand Audit - MVP: Conducted a minimal viable product (MVP) brand audit to assess current brand strengths and weaknesses.
Interviewed Leadership: Conducted four 20-minute interviews with key leadership to gather insights and perspectives.
Competitor Review: Analyzed five key competitors to understand market positioning and opportunities.
Research:
Qualitative: Gathered insights from over 100 staff members.
Quantitative: Interviewed the commercial director of a major company.
Positioning: Defined Tirecheck's unique position in the market to differentiate from competitors.
Brand Messaging: Crafted clear and compelling brand messages to communicate Tirecheck’s value proposition.
Personality: Established a brand personality that resonates with target audiences, emphasizing innovation and reliability.
Brand Identity: Developed three logo options (mild, medium, and spicy) and a visual identity that reflects Tirecheck's values and market positioning.
Brand Presence: Enhanced Tirecheck's presence across various platforms to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Core Offer: Clarified and communicated Tirecheck's core offerings to streamline service delivery.
