Snapshot

1,546 — catalogue line items
72 — manufacturers across 12 categories
~40% — AI token reduction

The challenge

A UK independent distributor of passive and electromechanical electronic components (ISO 9001 and 14001, trading since 1971) needed a Figma-to-live production site with a catalogue at real scale.

What I did

Translate a six-page Figma into a production WordPress build, then expand it into a full agentic catalogue and infrastructure program.

The work

WordPress and Elementor with JetEngine custom post types, JetSmartFilters, a WooCommerce CSV import, NitroPack, Cloudflare, and a bespoke accessibility-plus-SEO PHP module. The build ran through Claude Cowork with the WordPress MCP and Figma MCP; the design was encoded as JSON tokens and per-page ASCII layout specs, a method that cut Claude token use about 40% with fewer correction loops.
Stack: WordPress, Elementor, JetEngine CPTs, JetSmartFilters, WooCommerce, NitroPack, Cloudflare, Figma, Claude Cowork, WordPress MCP
Catalogue: 1,546 line items, 1,545 unique SKUs (0.06% duplication)
Coverage: 72 manufacturers across 12 categories, 72 logo nav assets
Method: Design-token plus ASCII-layout prompting cut AI build cost ~40%
