NOWA is a coffee bean brand aiming to introduce coffee culture in a more joyful, easy, and playful way. The brand wanted to step away from the overly serious specialty-coffee aesthetic and instead create a warm, modern, lovable visual identity.
The logo design is built on a bold, rounded type style, inspired by the shape of coffee beans - soft, full, and approachable. This communicates quality, freshness, and the brand’s relaxed attitude toward coffee drinking.
I developed a color palette drawn from coffee’s natural flavor notes:
Sea-salt blue (freshness, lightness)
Citrus yellow (bright & fruity notes)
Nutty brown (classic, warm coffee tones)
The visual system uses playful compositions, macro bean imagery, and modern layouts to balance fun energy with premium quality. NOWA’s brand world invites consumers to enjoy coffee as a simple daily pleasure - easy, joyful, and uplifting.
