The client
Paras is a video editor and cinematographer who works with YouTube creators and brands. He has more than three years of experience, 1,200+ videos delivered, and a steady base of clients on Upwork. What he didn't have was a website.
The problem
His work was spread across YouTube links, Drive folders, and his Upwork profile. A potential client had no single place to see his range, understand how he works, or read what past clients said. That meant every new lead started from zero trust, and Paras had to re-explain himself in every conversation.
The goal
Build a site that works like a salesperson. In under a minute it should show the work, explain the process, build trust, and get the visitor to book a call.
The approach
I designed and built the site in Framer around a single conversion path: watch the work → trust the process → book a call. Every section exists to move the visitor one step along that path.
Key design decisions
A hero that feels like an editor's desk. An interactive 3D keyboard, built in Spline, gives the page a tactile, creative feel from the first second. It sits beside the headline: "Frames that move people, cuts that convert, visuals that last."
Work organised by format, not by date. Long-form and short-form edits have separate sections, each with its own one-line hook. A creator looking for Shorts editing finds Shorts straight away instead of scrolling past 20-minute videos.
Services as clear offers. There are four packages: Shorts editing, long-form editing, thumbnail design, and content repurposing (one video turned into about ten pieces of content). Clients can see exactly what they're buying before they reach out.
A process that looks easy. A four-step visual flow (drop footage, editing, feedback, upload), each step with a UI mockup. It answers "what's it like to work with him?" before the first call.
Trust before the ask. A testimonial carousel featuring founders and creators (Heath Media, Postiv AI, Founder Growth and others), a stats section (1,200+ videos, 300+ creators, 450M+ views), and an FAQ that covers turnaround time (36–72 hours) and revisions up front.
One action, everywhere. "Book a Call" appears in the navigation, the hero, and the closing section, together with a "first call is free" note to lower the barrier.
The outcome
Paras went from having no web presence to having one professional link he uses on Upwork, LinkedIn, and in cold outreach. Instead of sending a bundle of scattered links, he now sends a site that presents him as an established editor rather than another freelancer profile.
