Cuorenero Caffè: WooCommerce store for a coffee brand

Context

Cuorenero Caffè is an Italian coffee brand that sells pods, capsules compatible with the main machines and coffee beans, to families and to businesses. The store has to make one thing easy: find your format, see the deal, order again. It also needs a second door for bars, restaurants and resellers.

My role

I designed the UX and UI of the store and built it on WooCommerce with a customised XStore child theme and Elementor.

What I designed and built

A catalogue organised the way people buy coffee: by format and by machine. The Shop menu groups pods, flavoured pods and capsules for Nespresso, Dolce Gusto and A Modo Mio, then coffee, then tea, herbal teas and iced creams. A separate Business menu serves bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, pastry shops and catering.
Merchandising right after the hero: the XXL format, large packs of 200 to 450 pods and capsules, and the weekly offers with bundles and free gifts, each with add to cart from the home page.
Category pages and a shop with filters by category, price and roast, sorting and grid or list view.
Product pages that show the saving next to the price and shorten the path to payment: add to cart, buy now, or pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, plus a meter that shows how much is missing for free shipping.
A B2B section with pages for each type of business and a reseller sign-up page that states the conditions up front.
Trust and contact on every page: the Trustpilot rating in the header, a 10% newsletter discount and a WhatsApp chat button.
The whole store sized for the phone, from search and offers to the product page.

Key decisions

Format first. Customers know their machine before they know a blend, so navigation starts from pods, capsules and beans.
Offers where people already look. XXL and promotions are tagged inside the menu and placed right after the hero, not hidden on a separate page.
Fewer steps to pay. Buy now and express wallets on the product page for repeat customers who already know what they want.
Business has its own door. B2B visitors get their own menu and pages instead of a consumer catalogue.

Under the hood

WooCommerce on WordPress with a customised XStore child theme and Elementor layouts.
Catalogue by format and blend, bundle and XXL products, weekly promotions.
B2B pages and reseller sign-up.
Newsletter discount, WhatsApp chat and Trustpilot reviews integrated in the layout.

What the client gets

A store that sells the way their customers buy: by format, with the best deals in plain sight, a quick path to payment on desktop and phone, and a separate entrance for businesses and resellers.
