Companion Candles - Fall Collection Packaging Design

Companion Candles is a women-owned, pet-safe candle company that creates seasonal scents designed to be enjoyed by both humans and their four-legged friends. The brand was born from the realization that most candles contain toxins and allergens that can harm pets, leading to a mission of crafting safe, cozy fragrances without compromise.

The Challenge Companion Candles set out to stand apart in a market full of generic seasonal candles by highlighting its pet-friendly promise in a way that feels elevated, stylish, and lifestyle-driven. The challenge was to balance that story with designs that are premium enough to gift, yet warm and approachable enough to live in everyday spaces.

The Solution I created a system where each scent is expressed through its own visual texture and mood, while unified by consistent typography, layout, and structure:

Pup-kin Spice Latte → Playful paw-print pattern with warm pumpkin tones, leaning into the cozy and fun side of fall.

Sweater Weather → A knitted sweater-inspired design with soft neutrals and purples, evoking comfort and snuggles.

Cabin Air → A bold painterly landscape that captures crisp mountain air, fireside evenings, and outdoor escapes.Together, the collection balances quiet luxury with playful storytelling, ensuring the candles feel premium yet approachable.

The final designs position Companion Candles as a seasonal lifestyle brand that feels both giftable and personal. The cozy lifestyle scenes capture the warmth of fall, while the flat dielines and box renders show the production details behind the polish—bringing together storytelling and technical expertise in one complete system.
