A Full Executive Branding & Website Project

Project Overview

I partnered with Simon Leslie, founder of Ink Media and a well-known entrepreneur, to design and build his personal brand website, LuckyLeslie.com. At a pivotal stage in his career—transitioning leadership at his company and expanding into keynote speaking and investments—Simon needed a platform to represent his expertise and achievements at the highest level. The project began by deeply analyzing Simon’s trajectory, accomplishments, and current pursuits. From there, I crafted a high-level executive brand identity that was expressed through both LinkedIn optimization and a modern personal website. The site was developed in Webflow with complex CMS collections to showcase his books, keynote speaking, podcast appearances, and blog content (including a full transfer from his old site). The final result was a sleek, high-quality digital presence designed to attract speaking opportunities, podcast invitations, and potential investors.

Client’s Goal

Simon’s main objective was to position himself as a thought leader and high-level executive while broadening his opportunities in speaking and investment. He needed a personal brand that communicated authority, credibility, and the breadth of his career while also acting as a practical tool to connect with new partners, podcasts, and event organizers. The website had to present his multifaceted activities—author, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and media personality—in one unified, professional platform.

Challenges

The challenge was condensing more than three decades of achievements into a coherent brand narrative without overwhelming the audience. Simon’s career spanned multiple domains—entrepreneurship, authorship, speaking, podcasts, and blogging—and all had to be integrated into a clean, user-friendly website. It was also essential to ensure the site reflected the polish and modernity expected of someone operating at the top of his field, while maintaining ease of navigation and a focus on conversion through clear calls to action.
